Winter Solstice!
Let’s celebrate the longest night of the year!

We are going to hike to Lands End and watch the sunset.

Afterwards, we will see the stars and city lights light up the night.
We can’t think of a better way to wind down the day!

Forget the bar scene… this scene is sure to be much more pleasant on the eyes and more invigorating for the body!

What to Expect:

Enjoy a relaxing evening of light hiking along the trails of Lands End.

We’ll meander our way though groves of coastal cypress, though the ruins of the Sutra Baths and along the cliffs and bluffs overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and Pacific Ocean.

The trail offers sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands!

The hike shouldn’t take over an hour plus a bit of time for a rest at some secret locations in the trail.

This will be an early evening hike but you will need a headlight since it’s the Winter Solstice.

Includes:
-Some of the most impressive coastal views in the city
-A fun and active UD Host
-Snacks, and the usual yummy surprise from the host
-Winter solstice special surprise
-Please bring your own water.

Attire: Casual. Dress in warm layers as it is often breezy and foggy.
